Brandi started working at ASLIS in March of 2016, she oversees what is happening in Greater MN and takes care of all things VRI. At the age of 9 she decided she wanted to be a Sign Language Interpreter and in 2002 she graduated from Saint Paul College with an AAS Sign Language Interpreter/Transliterator degree. Since then she has worked as a Certified Interpreter in Education, VRS, and variety of freelance settings. Brandi lives “Up North”, not far from Itasca State Park, with her husband and 2 daughters. Her family also includes a stepson and stepdaughter and two granddaughters. She thinks the best part about living in Northern MN, aside from the beauty and peacefulness, is the fact that there is never any traffic. When not at work she enjoys spending time with friends and family, swimming, boating, playing cards, and sitting around the fire on summer and fall nights.
