Workshop Description:
If you are hesitant to interpret for religious services, this is the workshop for you! We will look at frozen text for Christian services, touch on Jewish services and discuss how to find what you need before you interpret. We will learn about the different registers during church services, talk about resources for improving skills interpreting in religious settings, learn common signs for Christian services, and learn how to navigate a Christian church service from start to finish, including worship music!
