Event Details
This is the first workshop in a two-part series dealing with the impact working as a video interpreter has on our bodies over the years. The in depth focus on the shoulder joints shows how this critical part of our body is connected to a variety of functional challenges that impact our work and daily life. The Understanding Shoulder Pain workshop approaches an explanation of the shoulder girdle from different angles and functions as related to our work as Video Interpreters.
Educational Objectives:
Participants will be able to demonstrate their knowledge of anatomical structures explained using correct anatomical terms. Through multiple interactive lab demonstrations all will have the opportunity to apply various mobility concepts and leave with an understanding of how to further implement these strategies into their daily routine as video interpreters.
ASLIS virtual workshops are NOT recorded for later viewing.
