Tarra has been an ASL to English (voicing) mentor for various ASLIS programs since Spring of 2020. She works with mentees to improve their processing time, register, synonyms, catching patterns in voicing, working smarter; not harder – say more with less, speak in ways hearing people understand, affect, teaming, sentence structure, and overall receptive comprehension. She gives very direct and honest feedback and teaches mentees how to self-analyze their work.
