Event Details
In this particular session, we discuss the properties of visual language and realms and compare them with sound’s qualities to discover innate strengths within the language that is accessible only through the “eye”. How does signing produce meaning? How does motion capture essence? Is signing merely words or is it more? This session gently guides the participant to recognize the incredible and intricate space that is in plain sight, in front of them, within their body.
Educational Objectives:
• Begin to be able to intuitively draw meaning from wordless signing
• gain self-awareness of “total language body” and one’s own thinking modes
