This series focuses on interpreting in Mental Health Settings. Presenters include professionals in the fields of psychology and interpreting with many years of experience in working with Deaf individuals. They will walk you through various kinds of appointments (med checks, therapy sessions, etc) as well as share some of their first hand experiences. You will also learn miscellaneous but oddly important tricks of the trade, such as “Where to put my purse?”
Independent Study RID CEUs are available upon request.
Cost: $40 (includes all 4 classes).
